About the Project

A charming traditional home that celebrates Kerala's architectural heritage while incorporating modern conveniences for comfortable contemporary living. This project demonstrates our deep understanding of vernacular architecture and our ability to adapt traditional building systems to modern lifestyles. The home features characteristic elements of Kerala architecture including a central courtyard (nadumuttam), wooden pillars, intricate woodwork, and a traditional tiled roof. These elements are not mere decorative additions but functional features that provide natural cooling, ventilation, and a strong connection to cultural roots. While the architectural language is traditional, the home includes all modern amenities such as contemporary kitchens and bathrooms, efficient plumbing and electrical systems, and comfortable living spaces. The result is a home that honors the past while serving the needs of the present, offering residents the best of both traditional wisdom and modern comfort.
